Leehom Speaking 5 Languages http://www.languageblog.net/language/leehom-speaking-5-languages/ http://www.languageblog.net/language/leehom-speaking-5-languages/#comments Sat, 22 May 2010 21:09:22 +0000 Admin http://www.languageblog.net/language/leehom-speaking-5-languages/

In addition to music, Leehom has an interest in learning new languages because he likes to learn about new cultures. Although he isn’t fluent in all of them, he takes great joy in the actual process of learning. That’s what I admire about him, his willpower when it comes to learning. Even if he isn’t perfect at something, he isn’t afraid to try it. He currently speaks fluently or conversationally Mandarin (started learning at 18), Cantonese (started learning around 2000), English (His first language), French (high school), and Japanese (started learning in 2004). Leehom wants to visit France one day so he can further pursue the learning of the language. I think it would be cool to learn as many languages as Leehom, but I don’t have the talent, determination, or patience to do so. lol.
