Great Review!
This video is stopping at the five minute mark for me.
I do not know what to tell you. It plays all the way through when I see it…
Plays right through for me.

One reason for the cutting back on content in the Colloquial series might be that they are now producing advanced volumes for some languages. I have Russian 2 myself and together with the beginner’s course, it is very comprehensive. Of course, they make twice the profit and you pay twice as much.
When you dont like something the way you talk about it is very amusing.
excellent videos. I am curious about which your mother tongue is. English ? Where from?.
As far as I know, it’s English, though I don’t know from where.
Aw you’re so lucky, i want the Basque one.
you talk alot about “shadowing” what it shadowing?
I collect these as well… My most recent addition which I just downloaded are Estonian and Catalan
Gooday prof., I see you’re very fond of your language books (well who wouldn’t be!) but don’t you ever need to underline or highlight the parts that are most importan for you? Your books are new even inside, I’m sorry too when I have to write or underline something for example on a German grammar book but for the sake of learning I do it, so how do you make the most important parts of a book stand out? you just remember them?
overshare!
Great video… but it’s pronounced “Rutdledge”!
Hi cobrahearns. Apparently the books belong to the university where he works and he can’t write on them.
I was surprised when I saw a Latvian language learning book, because I am Latvian myself. Can You say something or speak very well in this language?
wow, how many series and book do you have :O
nice review
@cobrahearns Why the hell was this marked as a bad comment? – it’s a perfectly legitimate question
Watch his other videos explaining shadowing.
I have a question: this with the assimil series and the others look pretty much the same, I mean that they have the same purpose, to help you start. now, why do you use the same material over and over? (if that’s what you do) wouldn’t be better to move on to the next level?
