Oh, another question: out of the forums you’ve listed, which would you say is the best for receiving help/feedback and the most active overall?
Mil gracias por añadirme a este video.
Great, thanks!
Very useful Info. I´ll keep´em in my mind. thanks a lot
What do you think of Rosetta Stone? Anyway, I was highly impressed. I’m so jealous.
well done, thanks for the tips
i really admire you,
I speak spanish, english, portuguese and italian, now i’m learning japanese.
I i think that you are absolutly right in what you’re saying
Well done Richard! Such a good video. thumbs up!
Фантастические видео, спасибо
I found some good teaching material on the internet. Google “Ferd’nand”.
These are wordless cartoons. I have the students describe the situation trying to use all the important structures. Then I have the students role play the situation.
I’ve had a lot of success with this. It’s the fastest way I’ve seen to give them a good command of important structures.
This is good material for language exchanges too. It’s good for any language.
Veramente ben fatto questo video. Schematico, diretto e senza fronzoli. Sei un idolo.
i am from romania, i was born there but i was adopted and i speak english and spanish now but i want to go back to my home and im trying to help teach myself romanian, do you know any good books or sites for romanian?-Cristiana
Richard, sei un vero genio. Sei fonte di ispirazione ed esempio per me. Per ora parlo solo sei lingue, ma sto iniziando finlandese. Adoro le persone come te, altro che i buffoni che ci sono in giro. Keep it up.
It’s amazing the number of languages you can speak! I also love learning new languages, but I must admit it’s not easy. So far, I’ve studied 4 foreign languages. English for 10 years, I love it, I’m very fluent now. French for 6 years but never liked it, so eventually I stopped. German for 4 years, also love the language but I’m still not very fluent at it. Recently I started learning Russian, it’s hard and I’m not doing very well. I’ll try to follow your advices, thanks a lot for sharing them!
Oh and my native language is Portuguese. If you ever want to improve your Portuguese, feel free to ask me.
I have Rosetta Stone for German, and it is pretty good. But I definitely wouldn’t use it as my only resource. Its pretty long though, Ive been on it for a few days and Im still on level 1 unit 1 out of 3 unites and theres 2 other levels…but definitely check out some of the websites he mentioned
you rock man!
Thank you!
Dude. You are my hero. I am 17-year-old language enthusiast. I as well have been learning them since I was very little, maybe 6 years old. It started out with a French computer game my dad bought me and the rest is history. Right now I ca speak Swedish and French, and I’m working on Brazilian Portuguese. Just thought I’d let you know that what you’re doing is awesome. Learning a language is more than just grammar and vocab. It’s learning a new way of thinking and a new culture. Keep it up.
congratulations for this video! very well made, very atractive to the viewer
I think Moses is a fake, you put him to shame.
What are some god places on the web to learn Farsi ?
I must say that Richard is VERY clever for putting up the links and videos of other polyglots in his video
Man you Rock! I am Spanish and I am spending a year abroad in Amsterdam. My English level has really improved but I am afraid of losing it when I come back to Spain because there I have little opportunity to speak it. What’s about you? you speak 16 languages but I guess you do not practice all of them daily, have you noticed a decrease in any language level due to not practicing it? Could you give me any tips? Excuse me if I did any mistakes.
did you speak greek?? i love that language
