As usual, most helpfully informative for all language learners. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these for us!

I love Hugo’s. I’ve studied their French and Italian and found it very helpful.

The now sold-out 1999 Welsh in Three Months is probably the best Welsh book I’ve come across with. It doesn’t even need accompanying recordings because it contains both IPA-style *and* Anglo-phonetical pronunciation notes almost up to the end. AND it contains a Grammatical Index one can actually tolerate. \o/ // Among other resources, Hugo’s Arabic ITM is also good for checking colloquial (polished Levantine-Jordanian Arabic, I take it) verbal inflection forms + the occasional vocabulary filler.

    What is their website?

I’ve used Hugo’s Spanish in Three Months, German in Three Months and Spanish Advanced. The Advanced course isn’t too bad but contains too many typos and the three CDs seem to be overkill – the content could easily have fit on two, I reckon. The other two are great as long as you already have a fair idea about grammar. For the complete beginner, they’re useful, but I’d use them in conjunction with Assimil or at least an online resource like LingQ.

i didnt expect it initially but this course is amazing!! at least, for people like me who need grammatical explainations to function. im working through french in 3 months and its been amazingly helpful in figuring out whats going on in the language.
